FCMA Announces 2011 Manufacturers Awards

The First Coast Manufacturers Association (FCMA) announced the winners of its 2011 “Excellence In Manufacturing” awards at a special luncheon at the University of North Florida, with Vistakon winning two awards and Vac-Con winning the “Manufacturer of the Year” for the largest manufacturer.

In July 2010, FCMA had the opportunity to inform you about the Manufacturing and Spaceport Investment Incentive Program for Florida manufacturers. This is a two-year, $43 million program that offers sales tax exemptions to manufacturers for purchases of manufacturing and spaceport machinery and equipment. The purpose of this program is to encourage capital investment and job creation in manufacturing.
